I have a 88 Savage but twice for a year broke starter idle gears and starter tail itself. When I was looking at the OEM patrs # I found that newer (after Y2K) Savages have instead of "starter idle gear #2" a "limiter" that looks similar to the idle geat.This is the block gear that moves the starter clutch Has anyone mentioned this difference and are these parts interchangeable?
